Huisman Czech Republic to recruit up to 100 new employees. Looking for welders, design engineers and specialists for global projects
Sviadnov, 17 June, 2026 – Huisman Czech Republic is recruiting new employees in response to a growing volume of orders and the ongoing development of its Sviadnov facility. Over the next year, the company plans to recruit approximately 100 employees. It is particularly interested in welders, metal workers, fitters, technologists and design engineers. It also intends to strengthen its service and finance departments, which provide services for all of Huisman’s international markets. For selected positions, it offers a hiring bonus of CZK 50,000.
Huisman Czech Republic aims to ensure sufficient staffing capacity for both current and upcoming projects. The company places emphasis on the quality of work, meeting deadlines and stable business development. “The growing demand for our products and services is good news for us. At the same time, however, it means that we must strengthen our teams in good time. We are looking for people who have an affinity for technology, are keen to learn and want to work on projects destined for markets around the world,” says Karel Pavlíček, Managing Director, Huisman Czech Republic.
According to the Sviadnov-based company, recruitment in technical fields is more challenging today than it was in the past. Competition among employers is high, and candidates’ expectations are also changing. Demand is greatest for qualified production employees. Experienced metal workers and welders have long been among the most difficult roles to fill. For welders in particular, the Sviadnov facility offers the opportunity to work not only on unique projects, but also with modern welding robots and collaborative robots, known as cobots. In Sviadnov, the company is also looking for technically oriented specialists, such as technologists and design engineers. For these professions, expertise, practical experience and a responsible approach are essential.
In addition to production and technical positions, Huisman Czech Republic also offers opportunities in its Shared Service Centre in Sviadnov, which unifies and standardises financial and accounting processes for the entire Huisman group. The centre is a suitable career starting point especially for students and recent graduates in economics-related fields who want to gain experience in global accounting and work in an international environment.
Another interesting career path is offered by the Service Department. Its employees are responsible for the installation of new equipment, maintenance and repairs of existing systems, and technical support for Huisman clients around the world. Working in this team offers the opportunity to take part in projects abroad and travel to clients in different parts of the world.
Huisman Czech Republic is offering new welders and fitters a hiring bonus of CZK 50,000. For other production roles, the hiring bonus is CZK 30,000. Its offer is based on a combination of financial and non-financial benefits. “These include a competitive wage, recruitment bonuses, performance-related bonuses and accommodation options for production employees who commute from further afield. In addition, we regularly run a rehabilitation programme for welders and fitters to support recovery and their health. A modern working environment, work with new technologies, further training and opportunities for professional growth also play an important role,” says Monika Pěnčíková, HR Manager, Huisman Czech Republic.
At its Sviadnov facility, Huisman Czech Republic manufactures technically demanding equipment for the offshore energy, maritime, mining, rail and leisure industries. Products and components from Sviadnov are primarily exported.
